Featured Artist – MxPx
November 17, 2009
Posted by on Yes, I know what you’re thinking, these guys have been around forever! Well, guess what, that is a GOOD thing. MxPx came out with On The Cover II earlier this year, but haven’t made a regular full length album since Secret Weapon came out in the summer of 2007. So, with that in mind, they decided that they needed to do something before the year was out, which leaves us with the Left Coast Punk EP. If you aren’t up to date with this band (because you’ve been hiding in a cave somewhere) and you like some pop punk, then check this one out! There were only 500 hard copies made available at mxpx.com but if you miss out on that then you can still get it over at itunes. If you dig this, then they’ve got a ton of earlier work that you should definitely check out!

Posted by on If there has been a bigger Christian band in the mainstream over the last few years than Flyleaf, then it would be in your imagination. This rock band out of Texas is finally coming out with their sophomore full length album after four years of waiting and they do not disappoint. “Memento Mori” is due out November 10th, was produced by Howard Benson and is surely one you won’t want to miss. Check out our official review, their webpages and the new video for their latest single, “Again”.

Posted by on The first album coming out of the newly renovated and ramped Mono Vs. Stereo Records, a sub-label of Gotee Records comes from Russelville, Arkansas natives Deas Vail. This not well enough known band has come out with a couple of EP’s and one full length before their former label closed down shop. Birds & Cages is their sophomore full length album and was recorded about a year ago, but is just now getting into the public’s hands for the first time on Oct 27th. To get to know a little bit more, check out these great resources.
